What happened to the cooperation between Apple?

What happened to the cooperation between Apple and Samsung? What made the former “enemies” shake hands and make peace?

What’s the specific reason? According to CNBC, on January 7, Apple and Samsung announced their cooperation before the start of CES in Las

Vegas. Soon, Samsung smart TV users will be able to access iTunes movies and TV content.

Airplay 2 will also support iPhone and iPad users to send content from their phones to televisions.

It’s the first time Apple’s iTunes has been built into third-party devices.

Eddy Cue, Senior Vice President of Apple’s Internet Software and Services, announced the

partnership: “We look forward to getting more users around the world to adopt it.

Samsung smart TV experience iTunes and AirPlay 2, and iPhone, iPad and Mac users have another

way to enjoy playing their favorite content on the big screen at home. As we all know, Apple and Samsung fought in court for many years.

There are also many patent wars between the two sides. From hurting each other to working together, what is Apple’s intention? Industry

insiders believe that with the decline in sales of Apple’s devices such as the iPhone, Apple can only turn to software services, diluting the hardware priority strategy.

It can be predicted that Apple will not launch smart TV and other hardware devices in the past two

years, but focus on the development of services, including video streaming services. So working with Samsung is good for Apple.
